In the case of a reinforced concrete arch bridge owned by Armasuisse Real Estate, the engineering assessment classified the bridge as end-of-life. With a few-hours measurements during operation, we translated vibrations into the dynamic characteristics of the bridge. A digital twin of the bridge was created, and our software enabled the reliable calibration of key stiffness properties, leading to a realistic estimation of its structural performance. Our analysis demonstrated that the bridge performs significantly better than expected.
